Technologies at Our Dental Clinic

At Cityscape Square Dental, the dental technology that we use helps make your dental appointment more efficient.

Through the use of technology such as digital and panoramic X-rays and the iTero 3D scanner, we can show you any issues in your mouth and walk you through your treatment plan.

Our goal is to be sure patients are fully informed about their oral health and any recommended treatments. Dental technology helps us do that.

Digital X-Rays

Digital X-rays use digital sensors instead of traditional photographic X-ray film. They produce highly detailed computer images of your gums, teeth, and other oral structures which allow your dentist to examine parts of your mouth that are not visible to the naked eye.

Panoramic X-Rays

Panoramic X-rays can show your entire mouth in one image. This image is a flat representation of the teeth, jaws, temporomandibular joints (TMJ), and nasal and sinus structures. Panoramic X-rays can be used to create treatment plans for a variety of services, including dentures and braces.

Intraoral Scanner

The iTero® intraoral scanner can create accurate 3D dental impressions that are ready within minutes. This is an ideal alternative to traditional dental impressions which can be messy and unpleasant.

Intraoral scanners allow for real-time results and can be used to plan for restorative and orthodontic treatments, including Invisalign

Cone Beam Cat Scan

Cone beam computed tomography (CBCT) is a type of X-ray machine that generates 3D images of dental structures, soft tissues, nerve paths and bone in the craniofacial region in a single scan.

Images obtained with CBCT allow for more precise treatment planning, including analyzing your airway for snoring and sleep apnea treatment.
